PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE SUBMITTING APPLICATION ONLINE:
Ensure that you fill up the Application Form correctly as instructed. ∙ Immediately after registration, Email Verification Code will be sent to candidate’s email id, which will be valid only for 15 minutes.
1. Name and other details entered by the applicant need to be the same as in the Qualifying Degree.
2. Applicant can log in to the admission portal through their registered email address, only.
3. The Email address provided by the applicant must be functional and the applicant must have access to it throughout the admission process. Those
candidates, who do not have a valid e- mail id, have to create the same before proceeding for online application.
4. Candidates who wish to apply for more than one programme are required to use the same login details.
5. The applicant should note down the entered Email ID and Password during registration for future use. Once the registration is complete the candidate may proceed to fill the application form online.
6. Candidates are advised in their own interest to apply online much before the closing dates and not to wait till last date for applying/payment of application fee to avoid possibility of disconnection/inability/ failure to log on to the website on account of heavy load on internet or website jam.
7. Goa University does not assume any responsibility for the candidates not being able to submit their application within the last date on account of aforesaid reasons or for any other reason beyond the control of the Goa University.
8. The payments made by non-eligible candidates shall not be refunded.
9. The application form is common for both Goa University students and outside/other University students. The candidate should select one of the options correctly.
10. Goa University candidates must enter the University permanent registration number (PR No.).
11. Mode of payment:
Credit Card / Debit Card / UPI / Online Banking
Choose the payment mode as Credit Card / Debit Card / UPI / Online Banking and make the payment using any one of these options and ensure that the payment is successfully completed. Please ensure that a receipt is generated on SAMARTH portal.
12. Please note that, candidates will not receive any SMS/Email from SAMARTH confirming the payment. In case you do not receive receipt of payment within 24 hours after the amount is deducted from the Bank, please intimate us by filling a Query Form [

13. Candidates are eligible to apply for a maximum of five SUBJECTS for the PG/B.Ed. programmes.
14. Candidates, who have completed their submission of application for one or more programmes and decide to apply for an additional programme at a later date, can do so by using same login to the system before the last date of application.
15. Candidates must check/confirm the correctness of the information already filled-in before submitting the application form.
16. Candidates may take a print copy of the filled-in application form, generated by the system in PDF format, immediately after online submission of the form, for any future reference but should not be submitted to Goa University.
17. Instruction for Uploading Image/Photo of Document, Certificate, Marksheet and Signature:
∙ Digital Photo and Signature are required in .jpg or .jpeg image format.
∙ File size of digital photo must be within 10kb to 500.00 KB limit. ∙ Document/Certificate/Marksheet related size of digital photo must be within 10kb to 500.00 KB limit.
∙ Valid Certificate for claiming reservation category. (Valid non creamy Caste certificates should be submitted from the competent authority of the State of Goa if the candidate belongs to Other backward class).
For SC, ST, OBC(NCL) & EWS Caste Certificate issued by authorities from Goa Government only, shall be valid.
∙ Valid Marksheet of the qualifying exam to be uploaded. ∙ Candidate should ensure that the Caste Certificate is valid on the date of making the application.
