Reservations for SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)/ PD category is applicable only to the candidates who have a valid reservation certificate issued by the Officer of the rank of the Deputy Collector or any other authorized Officer as notified by the Government of Goa. If the certificate is not issued by the competent authority then the application shall be considered under the Un-reserved category.
No, only Other University Candidates applying for the following PG Programmes which are offered at multiple locations/Institutions are required to submit their preferences of Institutions through the Google Form.
Candidates who are enrolled in colleges affiliated to Goa University and candidates from autonomous colleges affiliated to Goa University, are not required to fill in the online preference form.
Goa University Candidates need to attend the Physical Counselling.
Non-submission of preferences by Other University Candidates shall lead to non-allotment of seats.

No, Candidates who have applied for Programmes which are offered at single location (e.g. M.A. Political Science which is offered only at the University Campus) are not required to fill the preference form.
Candidates who are answering GU-ART for B.Ed. Programmes are also not required to fill the preference form.

No changes in preferences after the last date shall be permitted. In case candidates submit the Preference Forms multiple times, the latest submission shall be treated as final.

No, the candidates cannot use the Previous Years GU-ART registration Number and password to login. They are required to register afresh.

Yes, Only Candidates who are of Goan Domicile are eligible to apply for the B.Ed. Programme.
Candidates applying for B.Ed. are required to answer the GU-ART.

● The softcopy of the Passport size photograph and Signature provided by the candidate has to be according to the specification mentioned below:
● Digital Photo and Signature are required in .jpg or .jpeg image format.
● File size of digital photo must be within 10kb to 500.00 KB limit.
● The face must take up 70 - 80 % of the Photo.
● The photograph and signature are going to be considered for ID cards and Examination Registration Process.
● No Selfies or photos of passport size photograph or other pictures are allowed.

1. Change of Subject for Candidates for Master of Arts / Master of Commerce Programmes:
Candidates who have passed Bachelor’s Degree examination in any subject of this University or any other recognized University and secured at least 40% of the aggregate marks in their qualifying examination may seek admission to the Master of Arts Degree Programme/ Master of Commerce Programme in a subject of their choice.
2. Change of Subject for Candidates for Master of Science Programmes:
Candidates who intend to apply for the M.Sc. Programmes in the discipline in which they have not studied at the undergraduate level are required to answer the Change of Discipline Test (CDT) in addition to the Ranking Test in the respective subject.

• Candidates who have not opted for Major or Minor Subject in their respective programme are required to answer the Change of Discipline Test.

The candidates who intend to apply for more than 1 Programme or specialization should use the same login (Email id & Password) and apply by adding a new programme and make payments for the additional Programmes.
No New Application Form is required to be filled.

If you are joining Goa University (or an affiliated college) for the first time and do not have any Goa University registration number (PR Number) yet.
• The Seat Confirmation Fee is fully refundable in case of withdrawal of provisional admission within 30 days from the last date of Admission.
• Admission Fees shall be fully refundable in case a candidate fails to qualify the UG Examination within 60 days from the last date of admission.
Candidates applying for admission under the Caste Reserved Categories should have valid Caste Certificate to that effect issued by the Officer of the rank of the Deputy Collector or any other authorized Officer as notified by the Government of Goa.
